Pam Salkovitz is an experienced CEO who has led global companies and world-class brands. She is currently an Independent Advisor with special interests in retailing, B2B, and B2C. Her expertise in business strategy and innovation, Omni-channel operations, turnarounds, and licensing were honed over 25 years with companies such as Stride Rite, Nine West, and Jones New York. She is recognized for leading organizations through change and for her ability to build highly productive teams. She has spent several years working with start-ups in the consumer products space that allows her to utilize her vast marketing skills and her keen understanding of consumer behavior. She additionally works with entrepreneurs by serving as a mentor at Mass Challenge and Harvard ilab.
Pam has been active on various for-profit and non-profit boards including McCubbin Hosiery, Viabella, KaBoom!, K.I.D.S. (kids in distressed situations) and the Girl Scouts of Massachusetts where she was honored as a “Leading Woman” in 2007 and in 2014 served as interim CEO. She is a founding team member of “Shoes on Sale”, an annual industry breast cancer fundraiser that has continued to thrive since its first event in 1994.
Ms. Salkovitz holds an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and is a graduate of University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she received a BBA in marketing. Raised in Marblehead, Ms. Salkovitz now resides in Sudbury, Massachusetts.
